Moong Toast
SERVINGS: 2-3 persons


INGREDIENTS:

Grind:
1/2 cup moong dal (soaked for 1 hr)
1/2 inch ginger
2 gr chilly

Other mix-ins for moong paste:
1 tsp pav bhaji masala or garam masala
1/4 c chopped onion
Sesame seeds optional
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 small Grated Carrot
salt
turmeric

6 slices of bread
Tomato Ketchup as needed
Ghee to toast


DIRECTIONS:

Soak moong dal for 1-2 hrs and grind to thick paste with ginger and chillies. Mix in other ingr.

Warm a cast iron or non stick skillet.
Coat one side of toast with a thin layer of ketchup, 2 tbsp moong paste evenly spread over it.

Place on greased hot skillet and turn over after few mins and toast the bread side.

Serve hot with spicy mint chutney.
