Fenugreek Thumbli
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
Red chilly 1-2 depending on heat ( or green chilly for Method 2)
Yogurt -1/2 cup.
salt
Tempering:
Mustard seeds
Garlic cloves
Red chilly
Curry leaves
Asafetida
DIRECTIONS:
Method 1:
Fry fenugreek in ghee, grind with other ingredients,
Warm ghee, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafetida and when mustard splutters add to thumbli.
Method2:
Soak fenugreek in water for an hour. Grind with ginger, gr chilly, salt temper with mustard and curry leaves.
Warm ghee, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafetida and when mustard splutters add to thumbli.
Serve with rice.
