Chutney powder
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Channa dhal
1/2 cup red chilly (byadagi – adjust according to spice level)
1/2 lime size tamarind
A pinch of hing
1/2 cup dry coconut (chopped)
2-3 sprigs of curry leaves
salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee
DIRECTIONS:
Roast all the above for 8-10 mins until it is aromatic. Dry grind and store in air tight container.
