Mango Hinddi (pickle)


INGREDIENTS:

Sour raw mango – 2 cups grated
3/4 cup salt
1/2 cup chilli powder ( or as needed )
1/2 cup powdered mustard seeds
1/4 tsp asafoetida


DIRECTIONS:

Mix salt and mango and store in a container for a week (refrigerate just to be safe)
Add chilly powder, powdered mustard seeds, and asafoetida and grind together coarsely.

Make sure to use dry spoons and container as any moisture will spoil the pickle.
